No surprises this week. Blood Diamond was already booked in. I had pencilled in Pursuit of Happyness but wanted to wait in case something more interesting came available. There were basically no new movies available. There's only one first run movie opening this weekend (300) so nothing got dropped. So I booked Pursuit for the early show.
Did get some good news, Fox is going to let us split Notes on a Scandal so it's pencilled in for Mar 16th. If they hadn't let us split it we couldn't have played it. Hopefully they'll do the same thing for Last King of Scotland.

I was in Toronto four weeks ago for the premiere of Amu. The website for the movie is http://www.amuthefilm.com It is a touching story of an Indian girl returning to India to eventually find the truth about her real parents and what really transpired during the Sikh/Hindu riots in New Delhi in India in 1984. I am hoping you will be the first one to bring the movie to London. The contact information is on the website.

As far as Amu goes we'll have to see how the release goes. It strikes me as the kind of film that won't get enough awarness going to play at Western Film.
